The purpose of this course is to provide a comprehensive overview of General Packet

Radio Services system, hereafter referred to as the GPRS system, including essential

system design aspects. It is assumed that the reader is already familiar with circuit-

switched communication in GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) networks.
